I’m a native Spanish speaker from El Salvador who needed to learn English when moving to the USA as an adult, so I know first-hand how frustrating yet rewarding learning a foreign language can be. My passion and mission are helping others break the language barrier so they can enjoy the gift of speaking Spanish with ease.
I attended college and studied Modern Languages: English and French in El Salvador. I received a certificate in bilingualism and biliteracy in English and Spanish and an advanced grammar certificate at Cañada College in California. I’m currently enrolled in continuing education courses at Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes & ELE International Academy.
I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area and I have been offering online small-size group and individual lessons for more than 6 years. Since my classes are through Zoom or Google Meet, students can take them from anywhere.
Personalized lessons are offered to fit each client’s needs to provide their best learning experience at affordable prices. I have worked with students at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Students can work at their own pace since Españology offers a flexible schedule.
I’m eternally thankful to all my students for inspiring me to pursue my career path as a Spanish coach and encouraging me to embark on this adventure of entrepreneurship.
As for my interests and passions, I enjoy listening to podcasts in Spanish, English, and French because there’s always something new to learn. I also like reading (Isabel Allende is my favorite author), cooking, spending time with my beloved family and friends, doing handcrafts, and exploring new places. Camping is one of my latest hobbies.
I’d love to be part of your learning journey! Let Españology be there for you and help you explore this fascinating language.
